GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE COMPULSORY INTERNSHIP
1.Internship Start Requirement
- Compulsory internships can be undertaken no earlier than the end of the 2nd academic year
2.Internship Duration⌛
- The internship period must be continuous and consecutive, and may not be less than 20 working days.
3. Internship Field
- The chosen internship placements must be related to the Department of Management Information Systems.
- Internship institutions must be traceable and subject to supervision.
- Students are not allowed to complete their internships in workplaces where they have family ties.
4. Overlap of Summer School and Internship Periods
- Students who are enrolled in summer school courses cannot perform their internships during the course period.
- These students may start their internships on the first working day following their final summer school examination.
5. Internships Abroad
- For students completing their internships abroad, Çankaya University does not cover any payments, including insurance premiums.
6. Staj Raporu Zorunluluğu
- ❗Internship without a submitted Internship Report will not be accepted under any circumstances.
7. Attendance Rules
- Students must not be absent without excuse during their internship period.
- ❗If a student is absent without excuse for 3 consecutive days or for 10% of the total internship period, the internship will be terminated, and the situation will be reported to the Department Chair.
- In this case, the student must repeat the internship and will not be entitled to any legal claims.
8. Grading, ECTS, and Course Registration
- Internships are evaluated as either accepted or rejected.
- Only ECTS credits are awarded for successful internships; these credits are not included in the GPA calculation.
- Students who complete their compulsory internship and submit their internship reports must register for MIS 400 – Summer Practice in the following semester during course registration.
9. Submission Deadline of the Internship File
- Students must submit their completed internship files to the Department Chair no later than two weeks after the beginning of the following semester, upon completion of their internships.

- Internship Application Form
- Internship Acceptance Form (Must be signed and stamped by the company where the internship will be carried out.)
- Eligibility Certificate(to be obtained via e-Government system)
- Insurance Entry Form (Excel)
📎 Documents to be submitted after the internship (attached):
- Compulsory Summer Internship Evaluation Form (to be completed by the company and signed on each page)
- Internship Report (Must be prepared by the student, contain at least 5 pages, and all pages must be signed and stamped by the company)
- Internship Fee Unemployment Fund Contribution Information Form (Public institutions are exempt from this form. Students receiving internship payments must complete the entire form and submit their receipts as attachments. The form must be signed and stamped by the company.)
