In order to graduate from the program, our students are required to complete 12 elective courses in addition to the compulsory courses and 1 compulsory internship. The distribution of the 12 elective courses is as follows:

  • There is 1 free elective course. This course can be taken from The Inter-Curricular Courses Department or the Public Relations and Advertising (HIR) Department. Click here to see the list of available courses.

  • There are 5 in-field elective courses (MIS or technical electives). These courses can be selected from the departments of ECON (Economics), PSI (Political Science and International Relations), INTT (International Trade and Finance), MAN (Business Administration), CENG (Computer Engineering), and SENG (Software Engineering).     • Note: Students who have MAN-312 (Foundations of Finance) as a compulsory course in their curriculum cannot take this course as an in-field elective.

  • There are 6 departmental elective courses (MIS electives). These courses are MIS-coded elective courses or courses that can be counted as substitutes for MIS-coded courses. Click here to see the list of available courses.
